One of the most helpful things was learning what a DAW is and how to use it. Also appreciated insight into Armin's thinking process and how he approaches music.

Extremely detailed, open and inspiring class. Never knew Admin was 40.. I am too and I also started when I was 15th. I always enjoyed composing, started with my Amiga 500 and a sampler, but deprioritised it over time, compared to other education / work. It is so great to hear a success story of such a positive person as Armin, who made it to the top. Brilliant! Dankjewel, Piotr.

I liked that Armin showed how to create a track from start to end and explained how to overcome the lack of inspiration, or how to come up with new ideas that can make your track shine through. I also liked his advices on how to get your career started and how to manage it once you get to the top. Overall, a great class.

Masterclass is awesome, we can get a great kind of inspiration to do something, Thanks a lot!

I love that music. Wow. And I am understanding better about music technology for electronic music. I wish I could learn to play the keyboard and make music too. So beautiful music is inspiring. EK

I am watching this with my kids who are 5 and 7 years old. We love watching passionate people work their art, It's a story that has gripped our attention, and every night before my kid's bedtime we come back to this to see how the story will unfold next.

Good to see and hear how they work together, playing around with sounds and sharing ideas over the genesis of a track. They obviously have a great rapport which ultimately comes through the music.

I'm curious what defines the dividing line between a lead and a pad. The pad seemed like it was a third lead. I'm guessing it doesn't matter what we call things, but I'm curious whether there are implications for the balance between leads and pads.

Interesting him talking about what keys work best: F F# G G#. Is that because of frequencies? Curious as to why these keys work best.

Love the way the song is coming together! Also, these layering techniques inspire me A LOT.

Joshua H.

Im curios as to what Beno is doing on the other laptop? is he working on the same track or a different one?

Dale H.

Really interested in how all of the layers come together, and how they keep it sounding so clean. Am looking forward to some discussion and explanation of the mixing and mastering going on.

Right now, I'm using FL Studio as my DAW. With Armin using Logic, it's confusing for me to do some things and I have to pause the lesson and go online to try and find where it is in FL Studio. Any suggetions on how exactly I could quicken the process?
