To not be so self conscious and worry what people are thinking of me all the time. As an actor you can't be that self absorbed about all these other distractions. I don't plan on becoming an actor though. Still an author and journalist but i just wanted to see how the other side lives. I think Natalie is a wonderful WUNDERBAR (German) actress.

It's going wood me think outside the box as an actor. Stopped me from thinking in a cliché way. Also enjoyed the golden nuggets of information.

This class has helped me break down characters and to be comfortable on set. Thank you masterclass and Natalie Portman. Hope to share screentime with you one day.

Natalie gives a lot of deep insight into the world of acting. The intricacies of character development that she offers are great tools to know. A lovely class.

Hopefully you’ll be able to read this at some point, but I understand you might not since you’re a busy woman! I wanted to just let you know the MAJOR impact you’ve had on my life. Your performance as Mathilda in Léon: The Professional, literally saved the relationship I have with my mother. I don’t want to make this sound like a sob story, but let’s just say my mother and I can relate to that beautiful character. When Mathilda said “I’ve finished growing up Léon, I just get older” , we empathized with her deeply. My mother and I had some rough times. She was born with type 1 diabetes and I had to learn to take care of her since the age of 4. It was usually always mother and son with us two. But just like you, she’s a strong woman. She was a single mother with Diabetes, she battled addiction, had men abuse her, and was even molested at age 5. But she’s still got those childlike eyes and genuine smile! I was very close to her in my early childhood. For many reasons I had lost that close relationship I had with her for many years. But then I stumbled across my favorite film, Léon: The professional. It was there, that I found Mathilda, my hero. She taught me there is beauty within the tainted. She reminded me so much of my mother and my childhood years, that it inspired me to take action. It paved a way for me to repair my relationship with my mother, and it helped me transcend the passion I have for acting and life. I love acting for how it teaches and expresses empathy, humanity, and the strength of compassion. You’re a staple for what acting is all about. So to all this I say, Thank you Natalie, for everything. I Can’t wait to keep learning from you, and perfecting my craft! If you have the time and wanna see my little demo reel, here it is: https://youtu.be/i9yfy0wyA2s I would love to have your feedback!

Hi Queen Amidala! After so many years, I still cannot believe that sadness could kill you. It must be the emperor who used some kind of Sith mind trick to kill you. Also, do you still love Thor? I am afraid he will be dating Captain Marvel.

Loved to see pieces of her work as well. She is so free in her work and not self-concious at all which is truly beautiful

This is the best MasterClass related to filmmaking I have seen in the series. Natalie is a great teacher, actor and human being.
