Stephen really does a great job of breaking the sport into its various components and giving detailed instruction on what to do as well as what not to

Great for me because I never focused on mechanics and really only relied on instinct and the momentum of the game.

I just wanted to learn more about Steph Curry's mentality and see how he breaks down film. The fundamentals and drills were incredible for someone looking to improve on their basketball skill and knowledge. I could see other NBA players watching this too. I would have like to maybe see a lesson on defense, but I know that's not his forte.

What a comprehensive way to understand the mechanics of shooting a basketball.

I know that this helps you learn how to shoot off the dribble but when will you ever be standing still in the game and doing a crossover or between the legs or behind the back without moving and then getting into your shot. When I do a crossover or a between the legs or behind the back, I move with my dribble and would either steph back or pull up into my shot. I don't get why anyone would just crossover and stay in the same position and then shoot it.

Really enjoy watching Steph teach. If I had these lessons at 13 I may have been able to play 9th grade ball. Now I will teach these drills to my son.

can you spend less time showing us your shots, even though you are a great shooter, and write the drills down in the book and give us more to learn in each lesson

Wallace

This is one of the best instructional courses I've ever taken. Right now, I'm shooting worse than before because I'm breaking so many bad habits but I'm confident that I'll see long term improvement.

I've found that it's so important to forget the misses. Thanks for the reminder. I used to get so upset when I missed. I found out that I was highlighting the wrong neural pathway when doing that! With our three levels of brain... instinct, emotion and intellect, we can emphasize or suppress the Wrong Pathway or the Right Pathway. Give the wrong pathway no emphasis (and do not repeat it!), and let it die/wither away.
