COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

MasterClass is about improving your craft and learning for the best in the world. We're proud of the positive and collaborative environment that our students create. In order to meet the goals of Sessions by MasterClass, it’s important for you and your peers to feel like they are in a safe place that is populated by people with shared interests.

Please always be respectful of the Community and share only content that you own!

We request that you read and adhere to the guidelines that follow.

PLEASE DO:

Connect with the Community!

  • Share your thoughts and posts about the activities, projects, or class in general. Keep your posts relevant to the material.

  • Connect with your peers, provide critiques and ask for feedback.

  • Only disclose information that you feel comfortable sharing with the Community.

  • Share any questions you have about a certain activity, project, guide or anything else.

  • MasterClass values your thoughts and opinions!

Make sure you only post content you own!

  • Only post photos, videos or other content that you’ve created and have the right to share. Don’t post anything copied over from others or gathered from the Internet, or anything owned by others without the owner’s consent.

  • Only post content that is appropriate for a diverse audience.

  • Be careful sharing photos, videos, or personal information of minors. For safety reasons, MasterClass may remove certain content or personal information of minors. Even if shared with good intentions, such information could be used by others in unanticipated ways.

Communicate with courtesy and respect!

  • Respect the privacy and personal information of other peers.

  • Be thoughtful when discussing sensitive or newsworthy topics.

  • Be tolerant towards others viewpoints; respectfully disagree when opinions do not align.

  • Follow the law. Do not engage in or organize any illegal activity in the Community.

PLEASE DO NOT:

  • Do not spam or post irrelevant content.

  • Do not share someone’s personal information.

  • Do not share your personal contact information.

  • Do not impersonate or create accounts for others.

  • Do not post someone else’s content.

  • Do not post hateful, disrespectful or inflammatory comments, including personal attacks against other peers.

  • Do not post profanity, sexually explicit, illegal or violent information.

  • Do not post misinformation, false or misleading content that may harm others.

  • Do not repost content or messages that have been previously removed.

  • Do not post comments for self-promotion or advertising.

We request that all members report behavior that violates our Community Guidelines, please flag inappropriate posts, messages, or content by reporting them or writing to us here.

MasterClass reserves the right to remove or hide users, posts, and comments at our discretion. Violation of the Community Guidelines may lead to the removal of your comments, posts, and/or the revocation of posting abilities. Repeated violations may result in the loss of access privileges. Moreover, MasterClass reserves the right to work with law enforcement, including when we believe that there’s risk of physical harm or threat to public safety.
