MasterClass Executive
A new kind of business education built by the world’s best.
Joining live events on Zoom
Live events like AI Labs and office hours take place on Zoom. A few quick steps before each event will help you get in smoothly.
Before the event:
- Register at least 30 minutes early. Use the registration link for the event, and register with the same email address where you receive your MasterClass Executive emails. Your confirmation email with your personal join link should arrive shortly after.
- Sign in to a Zoom account. Zoom requires everyone to be signed in to join. As long as you registered early, your Zoom account can use any email address. If you don’t have one yet, you can create a free account at zoom.us/signup.
- Update Zoom. If you’re using the Zoom desktop or mobile app, make sure it’s on the latest version (here’s how to update). If you’re joining from a browser, use a recent version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari, and allow camera and microphone access for Zoom. For the best experience, we recommend the Zoom app.
If something isn’t working:
- Didn’t get a confirmation email? Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders, and make sure you registered with the email address where you receive your MasterClass Executive emails. If you registered close to the start time, it may take a little longer to arrive.
- Registering after the event has started? Once an event is live, Zoom needs a little more before letting you in: you’ll need to be signed in to a Zoom account that uses that same email address. Sign in with that email, then try the registration link again. Registering early avoids this step.
- Can’t see screen share, chat, or camera settings? This usually means Zoom needs an update. Update the Zoom app, or if you joined from a browser, try the app instead, then rejoin.
🗒️: Can’t make it live? Every event is recorded, so you can catch the replay in the Community anytime.
