MasterClass Executive
A new kind of business education built by the world’s best.
Need-based rate
MasterClass Executive offers a need-based rate, awarded on a rolling basis, to a very limited number of admitted applicants (up to 30 per cohort) for whom the enrollment fee is a genuine financial barrier.
What is the need-based rate?
The need-based rate is 50% off the standard $3,900 USD enrollment fee. If you're selected, you'll pay the remaining $1,950 USD, plus applicable taxes. Payment plans are available to help spread out the cost.
If you're paying in a currency other than USD, the amount charged in your local currency may vary with exchange rates and bank or provider fees.
Should I apply?
Most participants enroll at the standard fee. Before applying, we ask that you explore other funding available to you, including professional-development funding from your employer. Our Employer Reimbursement Toolkit can help you make the case. If you're self-employed, consider whether your business can contribute.
How do I apply?
You can apply here: Need-Based Rate Application. Applying won't affect your admissions decision. Spots are limited and not guaranteed, and we may ask for supporting documents to verify the financial information you share.
What happens if I'm selected?
We'll email you with your offer. To accept, confirm by email and complete payment in your MasterClass Executive portal within 7 days, or by your cohort's payment deadline, whichever comes first. Your seat is secured once payment is complete. If we don’t hear from you within 7 days, we may offer your spot to someone on our waitlist.
What's included, and what's expected of recipients?
The need-based rate includes full access to the program. It doesn't cover optional in-person activities, like the weekend at Chicago Booth. Recipients agree to complete the program within 20 weeks of their cohort's start date, share a written reflection afterward, and serve as a Peer Ambassador during their cohort or a future one. Enrollment fees paid at the need-based rate are non-refundable, except as required by law.
I deferred from a previous cohort. Does my award carry over?
No. Need-based rate awards are specific to one cohort, so you'll need to apply again for the cohort you plan to join.
