Changing or Updating Email
Updating an Email on an Account
Once an account is created, you can change or update the email after verifying ownership of the account. Instructions for how to do this are below.
🗒️ If your sign-in credentials are tied to any social login, you will not be able to follow these instructions. Please sign in via the social sign-in, or disconnect social sign-in and set your account to login via email and password. You can find instructions on how to do this here.
- Log into your account via the web at www.masterclass.com
- While logged into your account click the Profile button in the upper right corner
- Within the profile menu, click Settings
- Under Settings click Edit next to the email address on the account
- Click Send Email Verification on the popup on the screen
- Go to the inbox of the original email on file for the account and click the link in the email to verify ownership.
- Clicking the link will send you back to your Settings page. Click Edit next to the email again and a pop up will appear allowing you to change and/or update your email for the account.
- Click Save Changes to confirm the email change.
From there, you will be able to login with your new email address and the same password on the account unless you have reset your password as well. You can find instructions on how to reset your password here.
If you do not receive the verification email please check your spam or junk folders to make sure it was not sent there. If you do not receive the verification email after 24 hours or do not have access to the original email associated with the account, please reach out to support@masterclass.com for further assistance.
