Whether you’re a beginner or a budding champion, Serena Williams can teach you how to improve your game on and off the court.
I think some of the basic components to becoming a great tennis player is to have a tremendous amount of focus and desire, and a lot of commitment because being the best or just being great at anything, you have to really be committed to do it, and you have to be willing to put the work into doing it. You're just not going to wake up one day and be the best in the world. That's not going to happen across the board in whatever you choose, but particularly in tennis, you're going to have to work really hard. Hi, I'm Serena Williams, and welcome to my MasterClass. When you're taking this class, I hope you're able to get a better game from your forehand to your backhand to your mental game to even your serve. If you're ever confused, don't forget you can always check out the workbook. Make sure you work very hard, make sure you do all the exercises, and have fun. Remember that you're only going to do great and be great if enjoy what you're doing. I really hope everyone that is taking this class this is able to learn that tennis is a fun sport if you can try to be the best at it, but also it's a great opportunity to learn a lot about life. You can learn how to fight. You can learn how to never give up. You can learn how to always want to be better in life, and tennis has definitely taught me those lessons. I would like to thank all my students for taking my master class. I hope it helps you to be able to be the best tennis player that you can be. [MUSIC PLAYING]
Serena Williams, the world's #1 ranked women's tennis player and winner of 23 Grand Slam singles titles, teaches you tennis and reveals the secrets of her game. This is as close as you can get to a private lesson with one of the world's greatest tennis players.
Its helped me so much! The only thing I would've loved to learn more of was more mechanics in backhands, 2 handed and 1 handed, and mechanics in general
Amazing access to one of my favorite athletes!
I think the class would've benefited by having more detail when a concept was introduced. For example, on serves she spoke of a kick serve and a slice serve, but it wasn't demonstrated in a manner that could be reproduced from a technical perspective. Otherwise, the class was good.
I love tennis and Serena's insights improved my game :)
