[MUSIC PLAYING] - I'm going to show you one of my favorite things, which is the 1 Minute Makeup. I'm going to show you how you could do your makeup in a minute or less with really simple techniques. As a working mom, a working makeup artist, and someone that did school drop off, I know the importance of doing your makeup in a minute. And I've done it many times. It's not that hard. You just need one to four things that work on you that you could use at more than one place on your face. So I'm going to start. I'm going to skip foundation. I'm going to start with a little bronzer, a little bronzing cream that literally just wakes up your face and just adds color. It's also instead of a moisturizer. So it's your moisturizer. It's a self-tanner. It's a little bit of a cream bronzer. And you just throw it on. OK. You're done. If you have oily skin, you can use a powder. Then no foundation, but just a little bit of quick concealer. Not a lot because most of us in the morning just need a little something. So a little bit under the eyes. Again, you just do it. And take your finger, put it right in, throw on a coat of mascara. One coat makes a big difference. And if you have time, quickly you could literally look put together by just putting a little bit of something sparkly on your lid. And one last thing, if you can get some kind of a cream blush, where it goes on your lips, on your cheeks, you are done. You look put together. And it takes two seconds. Because everything just goes on. No brushes. No opening compacts. It's all done. And you could do it in the car All right. Maybe the backseat. But you could do it in the car. [MUSIC PLAYING]

Be your own best makeup artist

Bobbi Brown’s philosophy is that makeup should be quick and natural, and it should enhance who you are. A beauty industry icon, Bobbi shares her expertise in step-by-step tutorials, using models with a range of skin tones. You’ll learn how to choose the right foundation, do a smoky eye and a statement lip, and take your look from day to night. But most of all, you’ll learn how to feel confident in your own skin.

I loved seeing the techniques and the recommendations. I wish that we could have seen the exact products she was using in the videos. The workbook helped a bit with that but I would have liked to see a listing for each of the looks.

It was great! I learned easy and natural looks for myself.

I loved it! So much good content you can take and learn. I'm really happy I took this course.

Basic makeup skills—especially being someone who doesn't like to wear a lot of makeup.

The one thing that I noticed is that the model in the "after look" has her brows done, but Bobbi did not do this, in the lesson.

As a working mother, I usually rush in the morning, trying to make sure that breakfast is ready and that everyone is good to go. After the school drop off, that's the only time to refocus back to myself and do my make-up. This one-minute make up trick is very handy to do especially during rush hour traffic. I love the idea of using simple products for multiple applications, like the lip and cheek cream. Always a fan of simple, nude make-up that's perfect for everyday, on-the-go moms. Great Lesson!

I love how Bobbi just brings it back to simple basics! Not overdone and still letting your natural skin show through. This is perfectly beautiful. I too would love to know what tinted balm she is using. RMS beauty Buriti Bronzer looks similar, but that’s just a guess.

Thank you for teaching us your tricks. You made it look very easy. I especially appreciate the color coding price range on products. That was an added extra treat.

does anyone know the name and brand of the tinted balm that Bobbi keeps on using? I have been trying to google it etc. but haven't been successful.. Any help would be much appreciated!

This is such a great lesson! I love the idea of one product for multiple uses on your face. No brushes, no compacts?! I am IN!

This is the kind of advice one needs for working women who don't have time for full face makeup as the rest of the previous videos are showing, and full face is too much for the professional world. It is, however, too brief because no skin cream or sun protection--how about a 5-7 minute version rather than all or nothing?

As a working mom I definitely need much more concealer in the morning :D Does it really spare me that much time using a cream blush instead of a lipstick? This lesson is OK, but more an inspiration than something to follow step by step.

Worst lesson ever. Model's makeup looks unfinished, randomly applied, and unblended. This is not a lesson - it is pure "filler". There is more focused and better quality information in published BB books, BB website teaching clips, and postings from BB senior students.

It is hard for me to keep my make up minimal. I'm always saying "just a few touches before I run out of the house" and the carried away and spend 20 minutes in a full makeup routine! I need to practice more of this minimalistic routine.
