In this MasterClass, you're going to be seated directly across from me on the felt. And we're going to cover a bunch of stuff that I've never shared before-- specifically, in the domain of reading people, picking up tells, hiding tells, as well as a whole host discussion about tournament strategy, continuation betting, how to figure out when you should bet multiway pot dynamics. We're going to cover three betting, the whole gamut. And we're going to have footage, real-life footage from hands that have happened on television and break down who did what correctly and what mistakes might have been made. So as we go through this course, I want you to be cognizant of the fact that eventually these concepts will seep in and you'll have a better understanding. Anytime you take on something new, it can be challenging. And there's essentially four stages to this learning, and the first stage is I'm no good at this. And I don't really know what I'm doing. The second stage would be, OK, so I know I'm not good at this, but I don't really know how to get better at it. The third stage is-- all right, so I know what I got to work on, but it's really, really hard. And when you get to stage four, stage fouring it is essentially like driving a car where you no longer have to think about it. So, for example, with pot odds, when I first started playing poker, I would actually have to manually think through counting the pot odds in every situation until the point I got so comfortable with it, that now, I just know it. And I have a rough eyeball, I can look at the pot, and I go can get about three to one. So it's become like breathing for me. And essentially that's where I want to get you with a lot of the concepts we're going to share. We want to get you to stage fouring it so that it's like breathing for you as well. I'm Daniel Negreanu, and this is my MasterClass.

I am better at avoiding garbage hands, reading quiet players, mixing up how i bet on hands in different positions.

Great for fundamental poker ideas for the intermediate player.

Detailed theory with brilliant use of real life situations to bring context to those theories. I now have the confidence to go away and train and develop my own game.

Been a fan of Daniels for a year now and his character, got the class because of that. I've always like math and mental games between people. There's definitely value in this course, definitely what I was looking for. It's very nice to be able to come back and watch this whenever I want, it's an experienced view on the game.

In the lesson PDF up your game section, it suggest getting a database software. I went with HM3, but it seems like a lot to learn and go through. Anyone have any recommendations on how they us their poker database software? Also it says to check out twitch. I've never used twitch before. Anyone have recommendations on who or what to watch on twitch? Or how to best use twitch to study poker?

Sorry, but rubbish - if something says 'teaches' I expect to learn how to do that thing. This isn't about learning how to play poker, which I expected it to be, but instead listening to a prentencious American rattle on about things I haven't even got to yet.

So I am on a MAC, all my systems are MACs, what is a good software for MAC to analyze game play like the one mention in the PDF.

Are all the PDFs lesson by lesson, or is there one master PDF for the whole course that I can download? Thx

I've watched poker for years on T.V. and have played just a little in real games and am hoping to get to play a little more. I'm not looking to become a pro or anything but I have watched all the lessons so far and am going to watch them again because they are outstanding. Daniel has been one of my favorites since i started watching and after these lessons, even more so. Thanks, Daniel for sharing your knowledge with us.

I wanted to comment on this class overall I am an amateur poker player who has been playing for quite a few years. I Purchased this program and I credit it for my recent World Series of poker cash I played in the $1000 senior poker tournament at the WSOP in Vegas and cash for $15,000. Thank you very much Daniel

is it possible to download one big pdf that contains all of the written material or do we need to download the pdf for each lesson?

Nice way to think about automatic vs controlled information processing as applied to poker

I’m not sure where I’m at, I feel like I know I’m bad but I know I have potential but thinking I know everything but knowing I don’t.
