Kiwis, or kiwifruit, are a type of berry fruit. Kiwis are oval-shaped and the size of a chicken egg. The skin of the kiwi is brown and fuzzy, and the inside is green or yellow. 3. Slice off the ends of the kiwi with a sharp knife, then take a small spoon and dig it into the kiwi where the fruit meets the skin. Rotate the spoon around the fruit until it has made a complete circle, and the whole kiwi fruit should then easily slide out. 
4. Slice the kiwi in half and scoop out the kiwi fruit with a spoon.
