And this is all just feeling, and what the chords are doing to my soul, and my-- (SINGING) Ain't no other, ain't, ain't no other lover. Ain't no other, yeah, ain't no other lover! Ain't no other, ain't, ain't, no other lover! I'm Christina Aguilera, and this is my MasterClass. (SINGING) Ain't no other, ain't, ain't no other lover can stand up next to you. There ain't no other man on the-- I'm not into somebody dictating exactly how you should be, how you should sing, what your art should be. That's all for you to understand about yourself in the journey of being a creator, being an artist. (SINGING) Oh, oh, oh. No other man, no other man can, can stand next. No other man, no other-- No. I don't know. It's a feeling. I actually wish that growing up, I had a class, and could see some courses being taught to me, or certain advice being given to me, as when I grew up, I didn't really have a lot of examples, or people to show me the way. I come from actually pretty much no singers in the background of my family. And so, I didn't really have anything to go on. And at a young age, I really had to be my own navigation system. Within this class, I want to impose upon you the fact that I don't believe in a rule book. I don't believe in a rule book for anything in life. I think that everything is based on your instinct and your gut. My job here is to give you different tools to work with, hopefully open your eyes to new possibilities within you. Even if it's a word, or a chapter, or a phrase, or a note, I hope that I can shed some light on what to look out for, what to be interested in, what to listen to, when to project, when to be silent. And how to be a sponge, so that you can take in everything and then use it to your advantage.

Incredible class! Loved hearing Christina's insight - it was valuable in so many ways. Definitely leaving this class feeling inspired, and with a handful of tips and tools I'll be using from now on. Thanks!

Love it! It opened my eyes to the music world

Christina's class was amazing! It took way too long to get to the rich information she generously shared about singing techiques but once the class got there - it was amazing. I would cut out most of the beginning where she is talking about drinking tea and coffee and honey. It's just not that important. Once she is with the students, that's the best part!!! Really great from there on.

I learnt to trust myself more in my singing, and to just keep practicing. I learnt techniques that will help my voice before, during and after a performance. And I also learnt about the different tones and textures of voices and that everyone's voices are different and unique.

I am really excited to dive into what Christina has to share. Her voice has always been one of my favorites and I'm eager to see growth. I'm from New York and travel quite a bit, so I'd love to connect with any students who are interested. You can reach me on my Instagram as well @jont.elle. Peace!

I am so excited. I have always loved singing but know my voice is just average. I would like to start singing more in church and want to take this class to improve my skills and hopefully become more than just average.

Well, I am at the beginning going into intermediate singing on my own. However, I am almost there behind being able to rehearse my voice lessons just about every day. I know that there is so much to do in so little time to it. Therefore, I am trying to get more pointers on how to get a little bit further than what I am today. Furthermore, I started as singing for fun while I was taking classes at Georgia State University. Consequentially, I am now trying to get my voice prepared for introduction singing for my movies that I am writing, which are all genre.

This lesson is totally amazing!!! She has always been my huge huge idol my whole entire life for 16 years now!! I love her personality, simplicity, kindness and just the fact of her taking time to record this videos for all of her fans!! She has such and amazingly incredible soulful voice and I would love to be like her when I am a professional singer. I also absolutely love her movie Burlesque!! What an amazing movie!! I also admire her as a master vocal coach and all of her amazing incredible advices in these videos!! I am always reinventing myself for change and always being a better person everyday as a singer and being able to touch people when I sing!! #1 fan Christina!! I hope you read this!!! It would mean so incredibly much to me!! Thank you very much.

Another kitchen singer here, but mostly bluegrass. Would like to bust out a bit while rinsing. :-)

She teaches nothing about how to actually sing. It’s all about feel and soul. Which is terrible advice to beginners. Great way to ruin your singing voice. It’s a miracle she’s gotten this far and still knows nothing about music.

My name is Janna Pelle and I am a classically trained pianist turned alt-pop performer. I began singing when I started songwriting (because I was writing songs and someone had to sing them!) But I had only taken a handful of voice lessons in my life. I always had a good ear, and good enough pitch, but wasn't trying to do anything too vocally ambitious (in my opinion). Fast forward to 2017, when I was diagnosed with a vocal cyst. I have done countless lip trills and been involved in speech and voice therapy ever since, and I no longer have the vocal cyst itself - although I still have symptoms (ie. my voice "cuts out" at a certain midrange at times, and I feel I have very little control over when that happens). I have taken voice lessons in a hospital setting for the last 2 years, and have an anatomical understanding of the voice but still feel I need a more traditional vocal education based on FEELING. I am on a mission to understand the mysteries of vocal health and hygiene, not only for my own performance, but I am also thinking of pursuing a career in Vocology. I hope this course sheds light on all of this for me!
