And this is all just feeling, and what the chords are doing to my soul, and my-- (SINGING) Ain't no other, ain't, ain't no other lover. Ain't no other, yeah, ain't no other lover! Ain't no other, ain't, ain't, no other lover! I'm Christina Aguilera, and this is my MasterClass. (SINGING) Ain't no other, ain't, ain't no other lover can stand up next to you. There ain't no other man on the-- I'm not into somebody dictating exactly how you should be, how you should sing, what your art should be. That's all for you to understand about yourself in the journey of being a creator, being an artist. (SINGING) Oh, oh, oh. No other man, no other man can, can stand next. No other man, no other-- No. I don't know. It's a feeling. I actually wish that growing up, I had a class, and could see some courses being taught to me, or certain advice being given to me, as when I grew up, I didn't really have a lot of examples, or people to show me the way. I come from actually pretty much no singers in the background of my family. And so, I didn't really have anything to go on. And at a young age, I really had to be my own navigation system. Within this class, I want to impose upon you the fact that I don't believe in a rule book. I don't believe in a rule book for anything in life. I think that everything is based on your instinct and your gut. My job here is to give you different tools to work with, hopefully open your eyes to new possibilities within you. Even if it's a word, or a chapter, or a phrase, or a note, I hope that I can shed some light on what to look out for, what to be interested in, what to listen to, when to project, when to be silent. And how to be a sponge, so that you can take in everything and then use it to your advantage.

I'm really enjoying the teachings. It's hard not to watch all of them at one time. Thanks so much. Looking forward to learning more from the best.

I have found some truth and beauty in being an artist through this. Thank you 😊

I am SOO glad Christina says the things she says about life and attitude, because I think those same thoughts and I never get to hear anyone else say it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Truly Helped me as a singer, and more importantly, as a growing human being. God bless

Well, I am at the beginning going into intermediate singing on my own. However, I am almost there behind being able to rehearse my voice lessons just about every day. I know that there is so much to do in so little time to it. Therefore, I am trying to get more pointers on how to get a little bit further than what I am today. Furthermore, I started as singing for fun while I was taking classes at Georgia State University. Consequentially, I am now trying to get my voice prepared for introduction singing for my movies that I am writing, which are all genre.

I love her personality, simplicity, kindness and just the fact of her taking time to record this videos for all of her fans!! Another kitchen singer here, but mostly bluegrass. Would like to bust out a bit while rinsing. :-)

She teaches nothing about how to actually sing. It’s all about feel and soul. Which is terrible advice to beginners. Great way to ruin your singing voice. It’s a miracle she’s gotten this far and still knows nothing about music.

My name is Janna Pelle and I am a classically trained pianist turned alt-pop performer. I began singing when I started songwriting (because I was writing songs and someone had to sing them!) But I had only taken a handful of voice lessons in my life. I always had a good ear, and good enough pitch, but wasn't trying to do anything too vocally ambitious (in my opinion). Fast forward to 2017, when I was diagnosed with a vocal cyst. I have done countless lip trills and been involved in speech and voice therapy ever since, and I no longer have the vocal cyst itself - although I still have symptoms (ie. my voice "cuts out" at a certain midrange at times, and I feel I have very little control over when that happens). I have taken voice lessons in a hospital setting for the last 2 years, and have an anatomical understanding of the voice but still feel I need a more traditional vocal education based on FEELING. I am on a mission to understand the mysteries of vocal health and hygiene, not only for my own performance, but I am also thinking of pursuing a career in Vocology. I hope this course sheds light on all of this for me!

I have a degree in music from North Texas. I am a saxophonist. I have stepped forward to sing on occasion when asked to do so. I have recently retired from public education and I want to pursue performing on a much larger scale. This includes bringing my singing to the forefront. As a trained musician, I understand the value to learning from a master, and I have great enthusiasm for learning from the best... Ms. Aguilera.
